MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST 2007-2008
Men’s Prayer
Breakfast (MPB) meets once a month, from 8:00 – 9:30 at the
to cover the expense of the meal.
This year our theme
will be Men at Work to the glory of God.
Not only will we be studying what God’s word has to say about workplace issues, we will be scheduling a time in conjunction
with each MPB when we men can actually get involved in some hands-on, manly project, to glorify our heavenly Father.

We know that not everyone who attends the breakfast will be able to be involved in the project. That’s OK, but we want to
give those who are able the chance to enjoy some good working fellowship with the guys.
Some
of the work sessions are already
planned, but most are not. I’d really
like to hear your suggestions. In
particular, I’d like to hear about some options that would allow
us
to reach out beyond our CBC family and show God’s love to others in a practical
way. Most of the time we’ll finish our
projects
sometime
around lunch.

We’ll
get an overview of this year. Lay in plans
to get other guys involved, discuss possible work projects, and enjoy
breakfast.
Our
project will be to do clean-up and set-up for Discovery Night.

Our
project will be doing set-up work for the Live Nativity. There will be work all day, so even if your
schedule won’t allow you
to
join us for the morning work session, come after lunch.

We’ll ask the trustees to leave us with a batch of
handy-man projects that we can take care of.
A bunch of guys, with
tool-belts on or screwdrivers in their
pockets. Look out!

Our
goal today will be to minister to some of the widows in our congregation. The deacons will do some investigation into
needs
that we can meet. We’ll call
ourselves the James 1:27 crew
