July, 2005 Another motor added! One day, as I was getting home
from work, my kids met me to tell me they'd found a go-cart. They've been
wanting one and shopping around for a couple of years. That day they were
coming home from some summer adventure with mom and passed this fine machine for
sale a couple of houses down the road. There was little stopping them at that
point.
I had some errands to run. They developed the plan to walk
down and negotiate a deal, then I'd meet them at the go-cart. On my return from
getting gas on my way to cut the grass, they were next to it, waving and jumping
around. In pretty excited manners, they told me they could afford it using
their own money. One even ran home to get money while the other stayed to shoo
off other potential buyers. After hearing of their efforts and watching their
faces describe the go-cart plan, I gave the ok for them to spend their money on
it. They talked to the man and a deal was struck. |
