Here's my Lincoln Mig 135 Welder. Its very nice, cool helmet too!

Here is the air compressor. Its a 7 hp 60 gallon baby, wired to 220. I plumbed it in to three air chucks around the garage. Sure comes in handy with the cut-off tool, paint guns, and even ratchets and impact wrenches.

Merry Christmas, 2004
That darling wife of mine decided I needed to spend more time in the garage, so I was presented this toolbox for Christmas. She likes it because it is blue and was on sale, buy 2 get the 3rd free.

Its been so cold that I've only gotten it out of the boxes at this point, but I look forward to stowing all the tools in it. It's pretty tall, so I have to decide how to arrange the boxes, like putting one on the workbench and rolling the others around. Pretty nice though!

I (used to) never have drill bits I need. On a mission to Costco for the wife, I passed by these babies! I couldn't pass it up, plus it served as a reminder to Dear that it's dangerous to send me to Costco.

Every drill bit in the world is here, even A-Z bits, that are used in machining and tool and die applications. I'd say this ought to last a month or so...

Here's the Most Important Tool!
Don't get me wrong. I'm not Mr. Safety First and probably make mistakes regarding my working practices. I offer a story on an accident I had that not only cost me $210 but hurt like hell! I was working on fixing a wire in an electric fence. In wrapping the wire, the end came around and wend across my eye. I blinked a couple of times, but it seemed fine at that moment. The next morning, my eye was bothering me, tearing like crazy. I tried eyedrops, but the pain became worse, ultimately hurting like a bitch. I went to the eye doctor, who diagnosed that I'd cut my eye... an epithelial abrasion in two places. The eye had to remain dialated, drops on the hour, for 5 days. What a pain! So now, I am the posterboy of safety glasses - I wear them all the time, even doing things that don't typically could be considered eye-danger situations. For what its worth....
