Hiking trips featured here will usually be in the west/central part of Virginia near Staunton, VA.

Staunton is south of Harrisonburg at the intersection of I-81 and U.S. Route 250.

A good meeting place for most hiking trips will be at the Afton exit off I-64.

Here you can access both Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

There is a gas station, restaurant and a visitor center at this exit.

Behind the visitor center is a parking lot where groups can meet and then continue on to the trail.
