Hi guys!

I received this note from Steve over at Sugar Hill. Seems our DOLLY is getting great reviews on her new album,
"The Grass Is Blue!"

I thought you would enjoy reading some of them!

Take care!
Timmy

Hello everyone, I came into work this morning and found some very exciting new waiting for me. Dolly Parton "The Grass is Blue", which is currently in the Top Ten of Gavin's Americana chart is the #1 best seller on Amazon.com's website! The voluntary customer reviews on the site (12 total) *average* 5 out of 5 stars, with comments such as:

"This, without a doubt, may be the best album of Dolly's career."

"I love Bluegrass, Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, Bill Monroe, Ricky Scaggs... And I love Dolly Parton. What could be better than A Bluegrass album by Dolly?...The Grass is Blue is Dolly's best album."

"This CD is simply wonderful. The songs, the voice, the music is perfect. I have followed Dolly for YEARS, and I think this CD ranks with her best, if not her very best PERIOD."

HERE'S A SAMPLE OF THE MANY REVIEWS POURING IN FROM THE MEDIA

USA Today: three and half stars Dolly Parton's voice sounds so natural amid the banjo, dobro and fiddle here, it's astounding to realize that The Grass Is Blue is her first true bluegrass album. Because it's Parton, it's not just bluegrass of course. She bends Billy Joel's "Travelin Prayer" and Johnny Cash's "I Still Miss Someone" to the idiom, while revisiting her own "Will He Be Waiting For Me" and "Steady As The Rain." Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless and others sing with her, but Parton herself provides the most harmonies on the eerie "Silver Dagger," a Gothic folk tune in which a young warns away a suitor because of her violently overproductive mother.

CNN's Worldbeat "With so many artists returning to their roots, it is perhaps especially gratifying that Parton has decided to join their number via this brilliant bluegrass album."

Country.com "Overall, The Grass is Blue should appeal to a wide variety of music fans. Longtime Parton fans will enjoy hearing her in an all-acoustic setting, while fans of contemporary female bluegrass singers will find much here to enjoy."
