On May 2, 1999, the Clifton Forge-Millboro Girl Scouts held a mother-daughter hike at Douthat State Park.

We assembled at the Camp Carson picnic shelter to register and make trail mix.

The Douthat Park interpreters took us on a short nature hike pointed out special plants and features.

Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts helped prepare and lead the event.
