Relay for Life
Every year for the past four years, we raise money for the American Cancer Society by forming a team to walk in the Relay for Life. Last year, we raised $2,800. We are already in the planning stages for a bigger and better turn out this year!

Staunton-Augusta Junior Women's Club was formed in 1989. We currently have over 45 members. Any woman from age 18-45 is eligible to join if they are willing to fulfill a few obligations of membership.
Our group provides many services to the community. We participate in Relay for Life, Kids Cafe, Art in the Park, and many others meaningful activities. This year we are raising funds for the future AMC Hospice House of the Shenandoah with a golf tournament, live and silent auctions. Our group sells cookbooks, has a trash pick up route, holds activities for children and sells Christmas ornaments in order to donate money to charities, as well as offering a scholarship to a high school senior who plans on attending college.
