Loving Father, you nurture us from our mother’s wombs with blessings of divine and human favor.  Yet we have withheld our favor from those we deem unlovely.  Forgiven by you, we have refused to forgive others.
In Your love, show us mercy.  Give us a heart to love as we have been loved, to show favor as we have been shown favor.  Enable us always to act in Jesus’ name, with thanksgiving for your unchanging love revealed to us in His coming to us and abiding with us.
